@community.animal.rescue: Cat Rescue Diary | June 23rd Kevin is recovering well. Due to some friction that caused his tongue to get raw, he's still on a nasal feeding tube, and we're still applying medication for his mouth ulcers. He hasn't quite gotten used to his tongue being back in his mouth, and the stinging from the ulcer medication makes it hard for him to retract it completely, so a small part of his tongue is still sticking out, and his drooling. We'll need to keep monitoring him for a few more days. He's such a trooper, enduring the pain without making a fuss and being so well-behaved. He even greeted me today with purrs and kneading. I hope he recovers fully soon.
