What You’re Asking God to Remove May Be What He’s Using to Complete You Have you ever kept praying about one thing? “God, please take this away from me.” Maybe it’s pressure at work. Maybe it’s a heavy burden in life. Maybe it’s a season of waiting that still has no answer. You thought that once this situation disappeared, everything would finally be okay. But sometimes, when God does not remove the situation immediately, it does not mean He has not heard you. It may mean He knows you need more than just a changed situation. You need new strength to grow inside this situation. Just like a butterfly breaking out of its cocoon, the struggle may look painful, but that very process is what gives its wings the strength to fly. If someone cuts the cocoon open for it, the butterfly may come out easily, but it may never gain the strength to fly. The Bible says: “Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.” — James 1:3, KJV So don’t be too quick to reject the season you are in right now. What you are facing may not be God punishing you. It may be God training you. What you are carrying may not mean God has forgotten you. It may mean God is preparing you. It’s not that God doesn’t love you. It’s not that God doesn’t hear you. It’s not that God has left you. He is teaching your life how to grow wings.
