people that are dogging on dany and saying the dragons in the dance were larger and more trained don’t understand that doesn’t MATTER when dany’s dragons fought for their MOTHER not rider. That bond was stronger than any Targaryen rider’s bond with their dragon. She didn’t need a saddle and they rarely disobeyed her, because yes they still ARE dragons.

Unpopular opinion, danys dragons knew how to survive. The dance dragons were war dragons, older, and larger yes. But they also didn’t know fear the same way danys did. They were allowed to freely roam the dragon pit and come and go as they pleased. Danys grew up in a world that no longer feared dragons, in a world where they had to fight to survive. Those skills, along with danys bond with them is what made it to where drogon was so formidable
