Idk how I came across this but unfortunately I know way too much about the way jails operate as well as severe withdrawals. If you don’t mind me asking, what is he withdrawing from? If the seizures are related I’d guess Xanax or another benzo? Hopefully thats NOT the case… any withdrawals are horrific, but benzo wd’s are a legit life threatening situation, especially when it’s causes seizures!

Brooke I'm so sorry this is happening! We have the same issue with emergency services and medical staff here in Australia, where they lack understanding of Autism, PERIOD. They treat them with contempt and class them as criminals. It makes me soooo mad. My heart goes out to you and your brother, no one should be treated like this, especially our MOST VULNERABLE 💔

Brooke 🥺😓 This is so awful! Seriously it brought me to tears so I can't imagine how you must be feeling. This is absolutely unacceptable!! It's bad enough that people have to be in jail with mental health issues, but when your dealing with autism, or any disability that leaves them inhable to communicate in a way necessary to protect themselves it's a completely different situation. This is awful!!
