this was a bitter sweet victory in the field, fighting with all our might is the bare minimun to show our respect and gratitude to scotland. We salute the ones that taught us about football. No party was held in my home that night. But if brazil beat argentina in the cup the country will literally cease all functions for an undetermined amount of time

Very very fine writing. Congrats. Football does translate culture into play, and beauty is a winning factor. Lota of people think Brasil play beautifully for artistic purposes. But in football, the most effective play os always the most sophisticated one, and that is why Brasil wins so much. Scotland must settle for the pleasure of competing, and they seem to enjoy that a lot.

respect Scottish people for the most part as they're usually mostly good people but as far as not being subjugated, I'd argue the opposite. for centuries used to prop up their English masters to the south with very little resistance....
