AMERICAN HERE!!!! People don’t understand, there is no ac anywhere. Including public spaces. People in Texas can go into any grocery store or most homes and find ac. There isn’t ac in train stations or hospitals here

put a wet towel over a fan....it really helps cool down a room. it's not the same as AC but works much better than just a fan. We did this in Pakistan when the AC would break ...and temperatures were 115 degrees. Also, drink yogurt based smoothies....they help cool down the body. All cultures from hot areas have yogurt based drinks like lassi, dough, aryan, etc. Blend yogurt with ice and your favorite fruit....and drink it. That's how we survived the summers of Pakistan. The drink will make you sleepy though.
