from philly, moved to nyc. they’re different but the same in terms of living. the transition has been so easy for me because of that. pittsburgh is very different and a lot of my friends in law school moved to philly from pittsburgh and they had a rough go of it at first.

No city in the U.S. comes close. I felt like London could be NYs little sister bc it is broken up into neighborhoods like NY and mass transit is decent but the vibe and energy is nowhere the same to NYC.

Respectfully, Philadelphia and Chicago are the largest cities in America that aren’t transient like NYC or LA … Pittsburgh is absolutely nothing like Philly lol, it’s Baltimore.

NYC is like London, Tokyo, Paris, etc. it’s rated on its own or compared to international cities. It’s not comparable to most places.
