I'm in week 2 of my hysterectomy recovery. I agree with all this! The belly binder was a must for me, though. Bring a multiple plug power cord to the hospital with you. That way if you have to share a room, you're a hero. It's great! Taking it slow and recovering very slowly. Therapy is recommended to keep track of your mental health. Meditation and journaling is a good idea too. We got this hyster-sisters! 🥰🥰🥰

Every two hrs you should get up and walk a little. It will help with not getting clots , helps with gas pain and just helps everything moving

I'm 5 days post op and didn't get the hysterectomy pillow but it would definitely be worth it. Pillows have been my friend during this

I'm 7 days postop now. this list is solid. i rolled my eyes at the pillow at first.. but yeah. it's perfect. I'm team belly band. hospital gave me one and i wear it almost 24/7. no peri bottle here... we have bidets :)
i am living in a recliner, and just got a tray table for it and it's great!
