I really don’t understand the dungeon crawler Carl hype. I had to listen 3 times to finally get through it bc I was certain I was missing something. Nope. Just more of the same. The narration was so bad. The same monotone voice through the entire book.

I think Theo or Golden was excellent on audio. I heard so many people didn’t like the book but I wonder if it’s because they read it as opposed to listening to it.

I’ve done a few of these and loved. Will try the others! Julia Whalen does a lot of the books I e been listening to so they kinda get mashed up trying to recall one story from another

Yes, agree with many of these. I didn't enjoy the Dutch House (Tom was fine but the protagonist was an arrogant ass and the story was kind of slow). And I agree that Calamity Club should be added to the list of best audiobooks - it was phenomenal.

Mad Mable was so good! I almost never cry at books. I’m now on my third book of hers. She’s an amazing writer. Her character development is spot on and the plot twist. Just love her books 💙
