Well Mopple was right there… sweet and gentle. And Lily’s entire character was built around her INTELLIGENCE, and she is BRAVE and loyal!! I argue we got a strong female and a gentle male. Yes Sebastian was all rugged but it had less to do with him being male and more to do with his winter lamb backstory, and ram fighting.

I feel like they would have to change the specific types of sheep but there are she that are female that have horns I just don't think they typically make female sheeps fight...

my own characters have that dynamic the boy is innocent naive and caring he thinks that he is being abducted in the beginning -he wasn't even told to leave with her she just didn't correct him, he could've stayed at home and the girl (accused of being an immortal child stealing witch ) has a tragic angsty backstory . she is directionless and alone after running away so she chose help him find his missing sister they do find a blonde girl who might be the right age (this is a subversion of the princess rescue leading to romance trope ) but they can't confirm if they're related he didn't actually care he never knew her he wanted to cure his mom's paranoia which probably wouldn't have worked regardless so the ending is that the woman lost two kids because she couldn't let go of the loss of one . the girl is also healing and then un-healing people along their journey the second part is unknown to the boy so he reveals that she has healing abilities to the wrong person which led to a lot of positions of power being replaced
