I should see about attending a powwow someday. So far i’ve only been to the native/indigenous film festival couple times at the local tribes casino. Volunteered at it one time. Oh! I got to meet Micheal Greyeyes at the festival too. I about lost my mind cuz i didnt expect him to come. I was there for the zombie film he was in that night. Sometimes the actors/crew show up for Q&A after. Never know who. He was so nice. I was so shy to approach him. 😂I had also been doing a research project on Sitting Bull in 2 different films & he played him in Woman Walks Ahead so the timing of meeting him in person was crazy. 🤪😂

I miss this so much. I used to go every year in Kanawake but I live in the UK now. I loved the dancing, the drums, the crafts. Have to try and time a visit around it.
