I’m calling it - the reason rockstar is only doing a digital release and hasnt released any gameplay footage is because gta 6 doesnt meet the crazy high standards the whole community has and getting a refund for a digital purchase(at least on xbox and ps5) is significantly harder than a physical one.

but I don't understand is if they're not going to have a physical copy then why do you need a 5-month pre-order window? back in the day pre-orders were so the publisher had an idea of how many discs to produce.

Physical why because PlayStation came out saying that it’s possible in the future people who bought digital may lose their rights to the games they already paid for and would have to by them again after a set time period. Now Im only buying physical disks.
