Got tested on day 2. A group of 20 of us got half a day to practice the required skills for the job on 10 machines, so we had to share, and then got tested. The time we needed to complete the task was shorter than the actual time on the line. I never went back. I cannot imagine why they needed to test people on day 2 when they had a training line 😭

I quit at a steel shop once when I first started working as a welder in 2 days. I was on night shift in the yard in the dead of winter and told if you aren’t outside working your whole shift you will be fired. It was single digit weather for 12 hours. I walked out right then.

Expected to work 12-13 hours as a mover in 85-90 degree weather with no breaks/lunch. Found out the guys were on their 13th day in a row. I Ubered back to the office to my car and went home. Nope!

I have quit many jobs in my life and don't regret it. why would I do something I don't enjoy, it can be as simple as the people around me don't share my same outlook on life or morals or they are annoying as hell, or the pay isn't worth the effort and I can go on the internet and submit fifteen more job applications with a copy and paste of a resume in minutes. lol

guy hired me to work construction, but i was just supposed to be the helper with tools and carrying lumber, bricks, concrete etc. he had me doing concrete work, roofing work, carpentry and brick laying for $15 an hr and refused to give me a raise after 3 months
