I would never prioritize the hip abductor over a heavy RDL or Bulgarian split squats. Hip abductors are my last exercise because I've been doing them for years and can go really heavy so they are an easy finisher.

I was told by my trainer to actually start with a light leg curl to activate the hamstrings first and then go directly to hip thrust and then after each set, add weight and do 4 sets. He said it would help with stability and gains and it works. (And then after the other exercises, go back to the leg curl and load the weight)

You should also take creatine and track your hydration it will blow up your glutes with water which will make them look much more bigger

This is ok, lmk put y’all on. Reverse the order, and dynamically change the intensity. Sit on the adductor machine first just to warm up the glutes, just a couple reps at 3 low weights working up from a low weight to a moderate weight for you and attempt to focus on the glute squeeze. This is priming the glute muscle without fatigue. Then do just a few warm up reps on hip thrust to prime the movement and then hit 2 intense top sets on hip thrust. Then move onto to the rest of your leg day with limited warm-ups - from a formerly flat-butted person 🫡
