Yall! Come on! Just because people reject and hurt you does not reflect the way that God feels about you! This is coming from someone who is now 23 and knows that God loves her! What I’ve learned is that Gods love is deeper than your circumstances. There is a bigger picture to your entire story than what you are going through currently. Everyone is human at the end of the day. If them hurting you affects your relationship with God are you really following the right God? Idolizing people over your Lord is a common thing that goes unnoticed many times. You don’t need relationships at the end of the day God will be your friend! And he will be the coolest friend! Once I stopped looking at God the way I looked at the ones who hurt me. My relationship with him bloomed. I was incredibly happy and I had no friends. And in that time I met some people and I have a couple of good friends now. But my God is always here friends often come and go.

Whenever I feel this way I think of Peter and Judas. Peter denied Jesus and Judas sold Jesus out, both betrayed Christ, but there’s a distinguishing factor between Judas and Peter. Judas was regretful and attempted to make amends on his own accord by returning the money, but failed to undo what he had done and took his life because of it. Peter was also regretful, but he did not hide himself from the Lord, Peter immediately went to Him when Christ appeared on the shore. One chose death and the other chose life; one allowed pride to consume him and the other humbled himself.
