I followed your advice for my beloved hydrangea when we had a late frost in nJ. Covered it with a sheet and she’s doing great this summer!! Thanks for sharing your expertise!

My dream cloud hydrangea has beautiful blooms already (just planted this year) plenty of water & sun until 12:30/1 zone 7 but my blooms get dark pink speckles and die rather quickly. I started cutting the dead blooms off and now the other new blooms aren’t dying. But am I potentially messing up my plant lol

Mine looks like this and I planted it about a week ago. I got it on clearance at the store. It is a “pop star” kind. Seems to get part shade in the area that I can tell, but it’s more so all day partial shade. I water it every other day idk what to do, or if I should be doing more? My other one next to it has been there for a year and doesn’t act like that.

I planted hydrangeas in march. they drop maybe a few hours a few times a week but they do come back up and are blooming. will this happen each year or will yhe gradually becoming more established and not weep?

Question - I noticed one of my sunflower varieties does this also and perks back up around 7pm. It happens even if I watered within 24 hours.
