@blueacregarden: Is your hydrangea wilting, sagging, droopy, and sad? Hydrangeas can be divas (especially macrophylla varieties that are planted in a spot with afternoon sun). Here’s what to do if your hydrangeas are wilting, what normal hydrangea flagging looks like, and how to know if your newly transplanted hydrangea is in trouble. #gardeningtiktokcontest #hydrangeas #hydrangeaflowers #GardeningTips #GardenTok
They really are a lil dramatic at times lol but I love them!!

I followed your advice for my beloved hydrangea when we had a late frost in nJ. Covered it with a sheet and she’s doing great this summer!! Thanks for sharing your expertise!

I planted mine in a west facing garden bed. Worried it’ll get too much sun and won’t do well there but I’ve already spent big money on them 😳

My dream cloud hydrangea has beautiful blooms already (just planted this year) plenty of water & sun until 12:30/1 zone 7 but my blooms get dark pink speckles and die rather quickly. I started cutting the dead blooms off and now the other new blooms aren’t dying. But am I potentially messing up my plant lol

I planted big leaf hydrangeas this spring and this was helpful! I’ve read that you shouldn’t prune newly planted hydrangeas, is that true?

What about when the stems are droopy bc of the blooms being heavy. (Endless summer) should I cut the blooms? It’s so sad

Mine looks like this and I planted it about a week ago. I got it on clearance at the store. It is a “pop star” kind. Seems to get part shade in the area that I can tell, but it’s more so all day partial shade. I water it every other day idk what to do, or if I should be doing more? My other one next to it has been there for a year and doesn’t act like that.

I planted hydrangeas in march. they drop maybe a few hours a few times a week but they do come back up and are blooming. will this happen each year or will yhe gradually becoming more established and not weep?

Do you think these need support? They wilt like this. Newly planted this year and thriving when I give water. But water gets on the leaves because they sit low near the base

Question - I noticed one of my sunflower varieties does this also and perks back up around 7pm. It happens even if I watered within 24 hours.
