I've been like this my whole life... I have adhd... but my problem is that I'll learn something, even a full second and third language, even become fluent.. but as I move on, I don't continue to study it, and it slowly disappears. my brain isn't lucky enough to retain all the info unless I keep studying it. if I don't use it, I lose it. it has made me not as motivated as I used to be to constantly learn new things.

For every day of 2026 I have chosen to do something I don’t want to do. Whether it’s a chore, run an errand, schedule an appt, work out, etc I have to do at least one thing I’m dreading. Here I am 6 months later with a spotless and well organized house, a smaller to do list, and less anxiety. It’s changed my life! Just a reminder most things you’re putting off will take less than 15 mins 🫡

I like to just teach myself things. Phonetic alphabet, alphabet backwards, how to drive a stickshift, back up a trailer, do a cartwheel, draw, do vocal runs, voice narrating, chess, ect. Not because it’s very beneficial to my life, I just think it’s fun and like collecting random skills like Pokémon. Bonus points if it can be learned in like 2 hours or less.

well I don't know if this counts but for the past 3 months I have been taking a walk for like 30 min I always find my mind calm afterwards and whenever I jog I try my very best to not breathe mouth and I noticed my distance increases when I use my nose still trying to figure out why that is the case
