![😱Day 1 - he’s a new man!! 🇮🇩Michael was the live surgery model for “Face with Nayak,” an intensive, three-day meeting held by @doubletacademy 🥵Male facelifts are generally more difficult than female. Michael in particular had thick skin, heavy tissues, and acne scarring (which contributes to scarring of the fat under the skin.) 💪Men are also generally 25% more “work” than women. Their heads/necks are just plain bigger – it’s like detailing an SUV versus a compact car. 🩸Male tissues are also tougher to dissect and tend to bleed more due to generally higher blood pressures and the rich blood supply required to support their thicker skin and beard hair growth. 🕸️For safety, as with all men, I used a hemostatic net at the end of surgery. 🗓️ The local team will remove it on the third day after surgery and it will leave no long-term marks. 🙏Special thanks to @dr_tompi @putiadla for hosting and all of the organization and the intense effort it took to put this in place.
