I’ve been using blue magic and Murray’s pomade for my knotless braids for the last year and my hair flourishes under the braids. When I used to use braiding gel, when I’d take the braids out I’d always have horrible breakage and hair loss.

this is why people need to go to school get their cosmetology license and do continuing education throughout their career because it’s more than just doing hair. You have to know products and what each product can do to different hair types and scalp conditions

I had to argue with my natural hairstylist. She was like I’m against grease. It blocks the scalp follicle. I told her we used it back in the 90s so what’s the issue ? She tried to give me this scientific breakdown…….Me :proceeds to go to the store and buy blue magic.

I hate braid gel it makes my scalp itch so bad. Most times my scalp is sore that’s why I started taking a hot rag with a little shampoo and cleaning my scalp right after braids
