I’m happy with whatever their communication style is. Once a week, every day, every few days. Whatever. However I am looking for consistency. If they set the tone of every day then I will consider that dropping off after a few weeks as then not being interested. Within reason of course there are circumstances where that could drop off

3 days no texting is different than 3 days no reply. If I am waiting on an answer or we have plans and they are not replying — not interested. I think there is nuance that can’t be covered in 1 min TikTok.

3 days with not even a text is crazy. we have fast, instant communication. if you can go 3 whole days without thinking of someone and wanting to send them a text, youre not that into them. its the talking stage bc youre supposed to be TALKING

Maybe it's just me, but in the early stages of dating, I lose romantic interest in someone I don't hear from for days. Even just one text planning the next date is nice or "hope your day was good" text. It doesn't have to be a full blown convo. But it's 2026, we all DO have phones. There's no excuse not to at least send one text a day, that's not "rushing".
