One of my daughter’s middle school friends came over for breakfast. I was making breakfast burritos. Hashbrowns, sausage, eggs, cheese, and avocado. She said she never had breakfast burritos before but would try it. She inhaled it so fast I asked if she wanted another but she said she didn’t want her parents to find out she ate so much. I said it’s fine, I don’t even have their number and I was sure they wouldn’t mind since I offered. Plus she was skinny and a growing preteen. She inhaled a second burrito and 3 glasses of milk. I’m kinda worried about her. Told her she could always come over if she was hungry.

My mom was kind of like this one time she made avocado chocolate mousse for my friends and I and they were all so grossed out by it so I ate 5 of them because I didn’t want to hurt her feelings and made myself sick😭 but she would also order pizza and stuff she just wanted people to try her creations LMAO

I’ll never forget when my friend had a sleepover for her birthday and we were told we were making ice cream sundaes. We were so hyped because when we got there they had bowls and bowls of toppings laid out along with bowls of candy, popcorn and chips to snack on. We were so disappointed when her mom allowed us to only have one small scoop of ice cream and one topping each and then immediately put everything away including the snacks which no one got to eat. We weren’t fed breakfast either and everyone’s parents weren’t coming to pick them up until 11 am. I remember going home and my stomach was audibly rumbling because of how hungry I was
