I was moved by all the women that spoke up for our equality and independence. I read many of the books they wrote. I am sad to hear this is what happened to her.

As an English literature and Creative Writing grad student, this book, Sexual Politics, will be invested in. Listening to this narration and feeling this story, I’m instantly thought of the short story, The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte, Perkins, Gilman, the classic novel by George Eliot who wrote The Mill and the writer, and the poet Sylvia Plath, all women that were passionate about the injustices of women. I’m going to reflect on her question “what happens when the systems that were meant to help us our used to silenced us instead?”
