All the people justifying it by saying its only $20 more is crazy. So you guys would clearly pay even more and thats wild. When i was a kid when you bought a game you got a full game with all the features. When dlc became a thing it was just cosmetic

That's why triple AAA titles are slowing dieing while indie games are exploding. AAA titles have become nothing but money machines while indie games have more heart to them and dont cost near as much.

It’s technically a $20 paywall. To be honest, I was expecting the standard version to be at least $100, which most of the fanbase would be happy to pay. I understand the outrage, but it’s a game you’re very likely to get 1000s of hours in for probably over a decade. I look at it like basic math, if I spend $100 on a game that I go on to play for 1000 hours, I just cost myself a measly $0.10 an hour to be entertained. Which is far better value than almost any other entertainment out there.
