People need to educate themselves. Cops can ask you to get out of the car for any reason. There’s no reason to not have your license on you as an adult. You switched purses ok cool it’s on you to make sure you have your license not the cops

Penn vs. Mimms. You have to get out of the car, if told to do so. No reason needs to be stated. As for me, I always give a reason and try to make it non confrontational. The guy is also correct. Being on orders outside of the state of TX, driver’s license are automatically extended. He clearly read the statute. Not sure what happened before, but as it stands, it’s a lawfully detention.
