It's already been calculated that if Alberta joined the United states, albertans on a per capita basis would become the wealthiest Americans in the country due to the economic status, tax benefits, and infrastructure support that the United States offers. Albertans would be able to govern themselves, make their own laws and have free and unhindered access to the World Market. It would be like a new stock joining the New York Stock Exchange. Everyone will want to invest in you while inheriting a massive platform of stabilization.
