For anyone curious, I watched the movie 2 days ago. No spoilers: I thought it was fine. It’s entertaining. I give it a 6/10. It’s not horrendous but it’s not the 8th wonder either. Tbh they should’ve stick more to the comic. David was GREAT, and Lobo was cool but he was just there. You can remove him from the movie and nothing happens. Also, Krem (the villain) was kinda meh. Not the actor’s fault, he tried but it was more of a script fault. I say go watch it and form your own opinion.

I don't think people should put too much stock into reviews, but the whole point of them is to give you some idea about the movie's quality. If a lot of them are negative, there might be a good reason not to spend money seeing it in theaters.

Genuinely I cant wait- I loved Superman so much and have been EAGERLY waiting for supergirl. My dog and I dressed as Krypto and Supergirl for Halloween after seeing the movie

Loved it, very good movie and it gave me a great perspective on Kara. I think people should stop comparing her to Superman because they aren't the same. (saying this as somebody who's starting to get into DC)

Dont belive critics. I just finished watching an early screening of supergirl, and I read the comics. it's a great film! the fight scenes where hard to watch, and the main villian was....eh. but it has a semi dark/humor tone which I loved. People forget DC comics are dark. Milly is THE BEST Supergirl to date!!! her passion for the character and the way she brings her to screen is truly a great film. don't belive the critics, watch it for yourself. 8.1/10 PS: No post credit scene unfortunately

Yall it’s good. Not as good as we were all thinking but I think we’ve just been hyping up comic book films to much recently. Like when was the last comic book film people thought was just good. Not great, good. Last one I can think of is Shang Chi from 5 years ago. I recommend seeing the film. It’s a good film. If anything Milly Alcock and Jason Momoa are perfect
