It’s very misleading to say that it’s not going to cost a dime in Germany . I don’t know what your insurance is here but everyone pays for health insurance state or private plan, based on income! We’re talking 500 to 1500€ month, top range for state insurance is like 1200€ per month on 70.000€ income. There are many different factors to consider like do you have family insurance, family state insurance, family private insurance, private individual insurance, private with 10% co-pay. You were in and out fast, that is rare.

Good morning, you have to say it correctly, it's not free, but you have insurance, you pay for it every month from your salary. And it's not cheap. Please don't say it's free. Nothing is free in Germany. If you don't have a job, you're still insured, and it's paid for by the people who do work. It's different than in the USA, We all pay for it. So, folks, it's not free.

Da hast du aber Glück gehabt, in der Regel wartet man viel länger. Und ja auch hier gelten die Regeln, wenn es kein schlimmer Notfall ist, geht man zur Hausarzt/Kinderarzt Praxis.
