Always make sure you talk to multiple bankruptcy lawyers. There are many who will grift about chapter 13 even if you qualify for chapter 7. This is because they make more money off of it.

I filed in April and had my 341 may & waiting for discharge, but the firm I got thru your link hasn’t been very helpful with my questions I have to send multiple emails/text over two weeks, following up over and over before finally getting a response. First call with them everything seemed great once I paid it was down hill. My questions are barely answered it was kind of stressful. Thank goodness it’s almost over.

Just because you’re ashamed or embarrassed about your legal problem doesn’t mean that you should let a lawyer walk all over you. It’s even more important to advocate for yourself in this situation!
