It’s was a good finale, it’s just that James Gunn promised a big cameo in the finale and it was just HIM in the background of the concert so everyone was upset they were expecting Superman or smth

It reminded people of the MCU. Instead of playing out the plot in a well paced way the final moments were rushed and pushed out the door to make room for something taht only existed to hype up something new and irrelevant

i HATED it, i don’t care for big action sequences but it felt so off, the pacing was awful for me, hated the needle drop, hated the romance, and i hated the change in tone, and i despised rick flagg. the cliffhanger was cool tho 🌚

If you rewatch it today with no expectations it’s not bad , the problem was watching an episode and going straight to social media and seeing all these theories about the evil world and whatnot and what could come out of it and James Gunn himself hyping the last 3 episodes like Superman himself was gonna come in and save the day
