Almost every teacher I’ve known, have had multiple streams of income because teaching doesn’t do it. And I know because I did it for three years as an Assitant teacher in a private school, and the most I ever made was $18,100 annually- working full time, 7:30 am-4 pm, Mon-Fri, and my hours were longer than the lead teachers

I worked two full time jobs when I was a STUDENT in HS and no one said shit about it. Graduated at the top of my class too. My point being doing more than one thing does not mean you’re not focused or dedicated to the other.

My dad taught for Canton City Schools and worked in downtown Canton on the weekends and there were no issues. I new other teachers that worked 2nd jobs ...teachers

My computer teacher back in 1992 was also the night manager at the local supermarket in order to make enough money for his family. He just retired this year!!! this man also taught my father back in the 70s
