I haven't seen any of your posts in a long while, and then this pops up. I know that feeling of not really caring, except for my cats. The night I had my stroke, I was very unconcerned about my fate. I believe whatever will be, will be. But I did worry about my cats.I had the nurses calling and emailing people to feed them early the next morning. I, for one, believe that the world will be a bit poorer without you in it, without your voice. I wish you the very best of luck, and a swift recovery. For your cats, the world in general, and for all of us who love you and have followed you since the grand days of Harpo. Please don't leave us unless you absolutely must.

when i had to get surgery to see if i had endorsements and if my overy cysts were cancerous (they are not!) my cat Zazu layed on my chest when i got home and stayed by my side the whole week i had to stay home from work
