louis been having the fire gift since paris but i think how he uses it has changed. despite the situation, he seems less angry with it? like he’s not using his hate to drive the fire gift, he’s using his own power and self confidence. a real zuko moment if that makes sense 😅

I think Louis reading the pages out loud was WARANTED. Ida done the same thing. I would have used mind tricks to make him feel the words like they were happening to him. I would have given him that “full feeling down there” ♈️

they've repeatedly mentioned the witches and Louis didn't get into what happened after Claudia in depth. Merrick could still be a thing and him trying to bring Claudia back could also still ne something they just haven't shared with Daniel/us

I don’t think it’s distasteful it was a cathartic moment. I love this season and not always does the stories from the book transition to a good scene on a tv show. I love the show and besides a book is only a part of the story there lives continue in our imagination.

I don’t know when or how show-Louis developed the fire gift, but it’s not new. In Season 1, he used his gift to set fire to Daniel’s tapes of their original interview from the 70s after his « Grant me my Odyssée » discussion.
