it's not that the built in ties are disrespectful but wearing something like an abaya is, women who've been wearing abayas along with face/head coverings or hijabs for their culture have been made out to be terrorists by white people for years now but apparently when a white person wears it its fine?

its a bastardized abaya. it's a dress but referring to it as an abaya (and trying to sell it to hijabi girls) is the disrespectful part. it's like Muslim culture taken for white people. hope this helps.
