I usually agree with The “Auditors.” This is DIFFERENT. Firstly: Any Cop can “RUN” any plate they want, for ANY REASON. If: After Running The Plate, they see A WARRANT, they can ABSOLUTELY force you to show ID. That WARRANT is the “SUSPICION” they need to Force You To Show ID. I guess the key here is: Don’t Drive Around On THE PUBLIC ROAD if you have a warrant on you.

cops literally do not give a fuck if they violate your rights they know they're doing it and they deliberately do it because they just don't care to the tune of $1.3 billion paid annually in settlements for this shit. The most paid settlement due to civil rights violations by law-enforcement is forcing people to identify themselves without reasonable articulate suspicion of a crime it has to be an actual crime that can be articulated prior to identification
