My mother was flabbergasted at how much people pay every month for their mortgage. When they build their first and only house that they lived in, their mortgage was $110 a month. She said that was expensive for that time. And no, it was not in the 1800s 😂

My parents bought a house in Cape Town 1967 it was R4500. When I bought a house in 1992,at 27, it was R75 000. Now it is so difficult for my own kids to buy homes here.
