@henryfudgeofficial: When we rejoin the EU, the surprise will not be immigration. It will be emigration. Here’s the conversation no one is having 10 years on from Brexit, while we think about rejoining Rejoining is the only reasonable option left, but it will not cure us. Our problems were here before the EU, while we were in it, and after we left. They do not carry a European passport. We are the sick man of Europe, the nation closest to the brink of the Rentier Black Hole, and the first thing that leaves when the door reopens is our own talent. This is the conversation nobody is having. #brexit #rentierblackhole #ukeconomy #economics #braindrain

I lived in Norway at the time, my ballot paper arrived 1 day before the vote, I posted anyway, I wonder how many they received after the vote...

Funny the number of people go “oh look gdp has gone up since we left”. When I ask about the m3 of trade? No answer. GDP will go up when the price of everything does!

Do you think that Brexit has had so much harm on the UK economy because prime ministers since haven’t implemented policy changes to become independent?

Would the EU event want the UK to rejoin? What conditions would they likely impose? I suspect the UK would join with far less favorable conditions than they had

EU was never meant to be a government organisation though, it was originally set up as a trading bloc

Until Brexit Pound was much superior in value compared to Euro, which I thought was awesome for the British lol. Honestly, I don’t think the value will return back to what it was after joining back.

I recently read that 14,000 businesses within the UK have stopped doing international exporting after Brexit. That’s so many businesses!

I heard an interesting argument recently that the EU has shifted towards bureaucracy a lot since we have left, meaning rejoining the EU is not actually as beneficial to the UK as was once thought. I still think we should rejoin, as I believe that no matter what it can’t be worse than the 100 billion we are losing per year by not being a part of it, but i’m not educated on its current state. Is this an accurate representation of the current EU? Is there reasonable apprehension to another vote on rejoining?

I can sense your frustration and exhaustion when explaining how truly sick the UK is. I don’t follow British politics. Lord knows I have a hard time following the Red or the blue here in the US. But all your contents are very interesting. I have learnt quite a lot here. Thank you.
