6months off that included 4weeks disability before the baby is here. And yes many countries have fully paid maternity leave!!!!!

I received 12 weeks of maternity leave under FMLA, but for me to get paid, I had to use all my vacation time. And even then I only had 6 weeks of vacation so the rest of my leave has been unpaid. I have a week left before I go back to work. 😢 if we could get a full year of paid maternity leave, that would be amazing 😭
