Jzlsync :
I used to be an avoidant person because of my past relationships. Whenever someone got too close, my first instinct was to pull away.
Then I met someone who saw that side of me and still chose to stay. Even though I was often cold and distant, he never took it personally. Instead, he tried to understand me.
There were times when I told him, "You should stop. I'm not ready, and I don't think I feel the same way."
I honestly thought that would make him walk away. But instead, he replied, "I'll wait until you're ready. And if that day never comes, just let me continue loving you. This is what I want, and I'm not tired yet."
His patience made me lower my walls and give love another chance. But just when I was finally ready to let him in, he was the one who became distant.
The irony is, I spent so long pushing people away, yet when I finally opened my heart, he was already walking away.
