My grandparents did a similar thing to my Pop. He was in the 6th grade, came home from school & his house was EMPTY, except for his room. They moved away while he was at school. They did not come back for him.

I’m so sorry! I can’t imagine what you went through. My family and I lost our home and then my husband lost his job a week later. We are trying to pick up the pieces but it has been so hard. I feel like such a failure to our daughter who is 16. Currently living with family but I’m in such a dark place. I pray to God multiple times a day 🙏
