I’m glad you made this video, I am one of the people that tried to tell you this as well in that last video. The best way to explain it is that the United States simply requires more transparency than most other countries do. With the way, the United States does it, it’s much easier for you to be selective of what you decide to purchase or not, because you have more accurate information posted right on the product

When challenged, you researched and adjusted your position accordingly. Moreover, you shared your learning experience with your audience (including me).
Classy!

Right. In most countries they will state “enriched flour” on the label whereas the USA lists each ingredient that’s in that flour.

Looking at the box of Froot Loops in USA vs Canada, while the US version has chemical colors and the Canadian one has fruit juices for color it is interesting to note, and quite surprising, that the Canadian version starts with Sugar and the US version does not. (The US version has more Sodium though)

In America, some ingredients do not need to be on the label if they are below a certain percentage. It’s a loophole. I know that they do this with dairy alternatives to give the nut/grain milk/juice a more milk like flavor and texture.

Also, if a product has bread they then have to list the ingredients in the bread and on and on. The ingredients look like they go in forever.

Love your ability to challenge yourself when someone comments something different. You don’t even call them names (lol).

If you wanna touch on any of that again, you need to look at the labelling in Canada for real fruit. They only need one drop in the whole batch to be able to say it’s made with real fruit.

A&W hamburgers in Canada, specifically the Papa Burger taste way different than the same burgers stateside… Should be told the one in Canada is a little bit better. That’s a truckers report.😂
