It would’ve made sense to do a 4K 120hz ips (to keep the costs down from oled). Would’ve been an affordable price and built specifically for PlayStations with a secondary market of pc

What are you on about? PlayStation has native support for 1440p for a while and 4K games will supersample to 1440p meaning you get a crispier result than native 1440p…

I'm not sure what's hard to understand here. most PS5 games arent 4k. most people don't even bother with cinematic modes or equivalents. it's monitor. not a tv. meaning you put this in your bedroom or gaming room and hookup both a pc and a ps5 to it ans switch between them
