20,000 an ounce for gold, 500-1000 an ounce for silver. Those would be truly realistic numbers in my opinion, but I’ve talked to others who think gold should be valued higher than 20,000 per ounce. Also, if you research, you’ll find out Ft. Knox gold is not all .999 fine gold, a bunch of it is less than .999 fine.

If gold gets repriced at any time during the 50 year gold backed treasury period the benefits of capital investment is highly unlikely. If the bond holder can sell off the bond ownership is that taxable?
