@millychebby: I am heartbroken. 💔 In 2023, I met James Kimani, a young boy whose life touched so many hearts. Together, we moved his family into a better home, bought them land, and started dreaming of a brighter future. Since moving them, we have supported them financially and we have remained in constant communication with the family, following their journey and celebrating every step forward. I was planning to visit them next week to update you all on how they were doing and to begin plans for building them a permanent home. Last night, James fell while out walking with his friends. He was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. Words cannot fully express the pain of this loss. James was full of life, hope, and dreams. Watching him grow and seeing the progress his family had made over the years has been a journey that many of us shared together. To James’ family, please know that you are not alone. The promise we made to build a home for your family does not end here. With God’s grace, the support of this amazing community, and the help of our partners, we will keep our word and continue working towards that dream in James’ honor. Rest in peace, James Kimani.
