When I first seen this at Kennedy and elsemere I was so shocked they just painted 1 of the 2 lanes for carpool and call it a day 😳😳 making more traffic

Bathurst and Dufferin St downtown have it too. It's so against "carbon" you can't even get 10 cars through 1 green light. But if it was 5 cars in 2 lanes, no problem. There is never even a bus like wtf

World class engineering. Make the maths work. No more additional roads to the tenfold increase in motorized traffic. Best solution to traffic jams. Create Bike lanes & bus lanes on the existing infrastructure. The Engineers & City planners should be awarded the Nobel Creativity Prize which will allow them to see with their own eyes how their fellow Chinese counterparts deal with traffic smooth flow.
