The way I do it is I record in Logic and just film at the same time I’m recording. In Davinci Resolve I sync up the audio and video afterwards but the video always matches what I’m playing. The only time I do it separately is if it’s a music video style where I’ve made the whole track from scratch and there are cuts to different instruments etc
