3 Doors We May Be Leaving Open to the Enemy 🙏🏾✝️💙 This message from Beau is simple, but powerful. Sometimes spiritual warfare is not obvious. Sometimes the enemy does not need to break the door down because we leave small openings unchecked. Here are three doors we need to examine: 1. Bitterness Bitterness may feel justified when someone hurt us, betrayed us, rejected us, or mistreated us. But bitterness does not just keep a memory alive. It can keep a wound open. Jesus said in Matthew 6:14 WMB: “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” Forgiveness is not weakness. It is spiritual warfare. It does not mean what happened was okay. It means we refuse to let the enemy use our pain as a prison. 2. What We Let Through Our Eyes What we watch, scroll, listen to, and repeatedly consume matters. Psalm 101:3 WMB says: “I will set no vile thing before my eyes.” Everything we consume is shaping us in some direction. Fear. Lust. Confusion. Anger. Worldliness. Or truth, peace, wisdom, and holiness. We have to guard the gates. 3. A Prayerless Life When prayer disappears, resistance weakens. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 WMB says: “Pray without ceasing.” Prayer is how we stay connected to God in the battle. The enemy is not afraid of people who only look strong. He is resisted by people who stay submitted to God. James 4:7 WMB says: “Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” So let’s check our hearts today. Is there someone we need to forgive? Is there something we need to stop watching?
