@savannahsspoor: For a long time, I wondered how bee venom could ACTUALLY fit into my life. How would I sting myself with bees and just continue normally? It felt so foreign, so impossible, that somehow, someway, this would become normal. And not something I’d do once in a while, but something that would have to become normal three times a week. 30 bees just casually to treat a disease that is notoriously hard to treat - Lyme disease. Somewhere along the way, bvt has become a part of my routine. A full sting session takes me less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Most days, I sting and move on with whatever I have planned. The sting sites get swollen and hurt and itch, and there are some days where I feel a lot worse after, but it’s something that I’ve gotten accustomed to.
