Verse 21: “Assuredly, the evil man shall not be unpunished; but the seed of the righteous shall escape.” Rashi explains that God’s justice is certain, the wicked will receive their due, while the righteous and their children will be saved. Verse 22: “A golden ring in a swine's snout, is a beautiful woman without discretion.” The Radak teaches that beauty without wisdom is like a precious ornament in a filthy place, it is degraded and worthless. Verse 24: “There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth only to want.” Giving generously leads to increase; hoarding leads to loss.
