Because sometimes we don’t want to be “present”, and we would rather just veg. The gym requires focus and for us to be present & somewhat social. Yes, the rewards are physically & mentally worth it. However sometimes we’d rather not. Give yourself the grace you need, even if it means a gym pass for a day.

Taking a break too…..getting the head together sometimes takes a minute before you can put all of yourself back in it like you need to.

That is a good question. I think it's because the sad feelings want to take over... they can't take over if you do something that that makes you happy... so it tries to make you stop doing the happy thing so it can win. Im glad you went. Can't let the demons win 💪😎
