Bro,Bro the stone jesus was talking about was himself being rejected by the Jewish even up to now...it was a revelation when jesus asked his disciples what do people say i am, and disciples anwered and said some say you are Elija,moses,one of the prophet etc and jesus asked them so who do you think i am and Peter answered and said you are the christ the son of the living God ....and jesus said, for this is not fresh and blood that reviewed it to you ,but by my father which is in heaven and upon this rock i will build my church and the gates of hades will not overcome it...So the rock here is the revelational experience of encounter to know that jesus is the son of God.. thus God visiting our earth even in the form of jesus and believing it..that is the testimony and the witness of the believers ...until these revelations and encounters you are not complete in the knowledge of God gift to humanity even jesus christ .and you will take the bible or "the quran "as any other book in this age of science and proving knowledge of evidences..so the thing become personal to you through ur revelations,encounters and experiences of him too not just hearsay but me too have behold him too,touch and feel him therefore I'm testimony and witness of him..Either than that everything will be illogical and will not make sense to rational reasonable human beings in this era of 21st century of knowledge and reasoning.Because how should an illiterate person come back from a cave and told you had received revelations for almost 23yrs without eyewitness and start making laws,rules,practises,rituals and traditions for you to follow and believed and since then nobody had encounter that being before ..i mean this is illogical to the common sense and rational thinker.
